ok ok i know, i’ve gotten bad at updating this. there’s too many other things going on these days! ariana started preschool this last week, and loves it! her friends macie and carson are in her class for the mini-summer class. on her first day, the teacher was rearing for a meltdown when we left her, but she just waved us off “bye mommy daddy”, then turned and started to play. makes it easier for us! and i was excited to go grocery shopping alone, and have a little time to myself. ariana talks non-stop, and some of the time, we can actually understand what she says! she’s in a big girl bed, and has been for about a month now. she’s only fallen out twice, and loves having more space, and a bed she can get in and out of on her own. sometimes we look at her and just wonder how she got so grown up so quick!

dave’s birthday is this next week. as usual, he got his present earlier- a flip hd video recorder- which he had been lusting after for quite a while. he loves it! he’s also really enjoying his new job at tsavo in santa monica. he gets to work with our friend nate, and work from home 3 days a week. makes the drive those other days a little easier. besides that, he really likes the projects he works on. right now he’s watching an *oh so exciting* lecture series on iphone application programing. i just make sure i’m not in the room ;).

i’ve been busy with search committee at church (looking for a new senior pastor), and co-leading mom2mom (like MOPS) at newsong church with my friend lynda. and on top of that, naps, and growing a human! i’m 15 weeks now, and all the glorious all day carsick feeling finally went away around 12 weeks. i don’t miss it. i still need my daily nap though ;)
